Insignificant: that's exactly what she is to them. In their chapter books of stories and libraries of tales she's merely a poorly scrawled blob of ink. Her existence isn't even acknowledged by townsfolk, so why would a royal, or even a rebel, care for her? Such a question has a simple answer: they don't, and she completely accepts that fact. That is until the fateful day those bothersome strings of destiny entangle her into their mess.

Avoid looking into those golden eyes. One look is enough and you will be lost forever.
