Jhett Kingston has a mental disorder technically known as haematodipsia. It is the dipsia- or condition of thirsting- for the sight, smell, and taste of blood.
It started with his discovery of the mythical horror-- vampires. He would read books about them, watch movies, play video games with them- anything. He just loved the idea and concept of biting into someone and drawing out their blood as sustenance.
