Jhett Kingston has a mental disorder technically known as haematodipsia. It is the dipsia- or condition of thirsting- for the sight, smell, and taste of blood.
It started with his discovery of the mythical horror-- vampires. He would read books about them, watch movies, play video games with them- anything. He just loved the idea and concept of biting into someone and drawing out their blood as sustenance.

'An Absurdist's Guide to the Undead' is a horror/mystery following Zachary Manchester, a vampire who played god and failed. After discovering his girlfriend's corpse, he tried to turn her to save her, but with no idea what he was doing it inevitably backfired in the worst possible way. Instead of the peaceful reunion he'd expected, the girl woke up screaming. Writhing in agony. Decaying. With no memories, no personality, and barely enough awareness to know how to walk, Victoria was reduced to a mere shell. Now needing to tackle both the overbearing guilt of his mistakes and having to babysit the zombie-like husk of the girl he once loved, Zach refuses to give up on finding a way to fix her.
