Merlin arrives at Camelot, hoping to keep his head down and help Gaius. But when he meets the prince, and becomes his manservant, how on earth will he keep his magic a secret? Even worse, he starts to develop feelings for Arthur. ((Sorry I am so bad with descriptions and stuff. I know there are a load of Merthur fics out there but they are either AU's or one shots, and I really wanted one that went with the story line of the show. I couldn't find one so I thought, hey, why not write one myself! So here it goes, and enjoy! <3 ))

It's not Betrayal
"Merlin has-" The ghost of Uther Pendragon has told Arthur that Merlin has magic. Arthur struggles to deal with it, until he's forced to once Camelot has a familiar new visitor. ~ Morgana crooned to the guard, her words cold but soothing, smile apparent in her voice. The sharp clicks of boots snapped against the cold dungeon air as a high-headed, cold-hearted sorceress stood proudly in front of the old man. Dark hair, wild like a bloodthirsty animal, contrasted sharply against her pale, creamy skin. A dangerous smile lingered on her lips, watery green eyes gleaming with malice as she tilted her head to survey her prisoner with mock sympathy. ~ Heads up, this fic is as straight as a ruler, so don't be expecting gay smut. I warned you!Complete

REGICIDE ➳ MERTHUR
"How can I be sure you aren't lying to me?" "You can't." "Then why should I trust you?" "You shouldn't." "Why are you doing this, Merlin?" - Merlin takes the crown for himself, rather than wait for it to come upon Arthur. (AU based on the scenario from 2x1, but uses many elements of canon after that as well) (Merlin is NOT DARK in this story, though there are graphic depictions of violence and they should only be read if you are comfortable with them)Complete
Making Windows Where There Were Once Walls
When Merlin entered his chambers, Arthur was already awake, and ordered Merlin to prepare two horses for a hunting trip. "Is it too much to hope that you'll be taking Leon or Lancelot," Merlin had asked, his voice laced with fake sweetness. "Stop being lazy, Merlin. It is an honor to be invited on a hunting trip with the king," Arthur replied haughtily. "An invitation implies there being a choice, sire." Or, yet another magic reveal fic with lots of angst, but also a fluffy happy ending with Merthur romance, because apparently I think there can never be enough of them lol Cross-posted from AO3Complete
Spread Your Wings - Let Them Burn
Five years had passed since Arthur had become King, and three since the magic ban had been repealed. Merlin had left Camelot soon after, convinced that his work here was done and he wasn't needed anymore, to live a life of solitude and mystery as Emrys. But when a ball is held at Camelot to celebrate the first steps to the forming of Albion, an invitation finds its way to Emrys, and with it, a way for Merlin to find closure. Would he leave everything be as he left it three years ago, or would he take the chance to move on with his life? (Also posted on Ao3 under the title 'It Feels Like It Was Just Yesterday We Were In Love, Why Is It Falling Apart?')Complete
