Sold To The Covenant

I sat on the ledge of the apartment complex looking down at passers by.
A key from my father was all he left behind for me.

"If I end it now, I would be at peace."I said to myself.

Unknown to me, my aunt sold me to the Covenant.

I was pulled off the ledge by my aunt and her daughters,they held me down as I was injected with something, pulling away and trying to fight them off I screamed.
"LET ME GO YOU BITCH!!"
"Why would we?" My cousins answered in unison.
I felt dizzy and my body relaxed,
My aunt then crouched in front of me,
"The money we are going to get for selling you would take care of us for the rest of our lives ." She said with a grin on her face.
I started to fade in and out of consciousness.
"That money will be your downfall." I seethed at them.
Just before my eyes closed two men dressed in black suits walked over to me .

As my eyes opened, I covered them with my hands immediately, suddenly the lights were dimmed.
I sat upright and took in my surroundings, the room was white with only a door and a mirror on the wall.

I sat on the edge of the bed when I noticed the door opened and a man walked in.
I just stared at him as he held my key in his hand.

"Welcome to the Covenant." He said.
