It's been two years since the attack by the Octolings. The inklings were flung into an all out war against them. Thanks to the Squidbeak Splatoon, inklings prevailed. Since then, Inkopolis has severely increased its technology and government. A police force took place of the now forgotten agency. Turf Wars we're now only seen as cheap sport. Most kids were aggravated by this. However, that didn't bother one kid. Shadow. He cared about one thing only. Being the best. But that all changes when he finds himself in the wrong place at the wrong time.
