Samantha Collins has been through it all. Her parents died during a mall shooting when she was 10, she went through depression that same year, and she started cutting herself when she was 11. Now Samantha is in High School, her anxiety attacks are getting worse, she's started starving herself, and on top of all this, she's being bullied by "the populars". Chris Vega, captain of the basketball team, can't help but notice Samantha after he bumps into her, spilling her drink all over her, and deciding to stick up for her on the same day. He can tell there are mysteries hiding behind that pretty face of hers, but he can't put his finger on them. Samantha and Chris have their own secrets to deal with. Some good, and some bad. Some, are maybe the reasons they get along so well. What will happen when a jock and an anorexic girl collide? Will they Face the Music together, or will suicide be the only way out for Samantha?

Logan- the typical. he's not always good with girls, never being able to understand their motives, but enjoys being around them. He's not a bad boy or anything, just about the opposite in fact. but, he IS a great friend, and always the one to depend on. Sam- her body image is way below average. even though she seems normal, deep inside, well, not too deep, just about skin-deep, she is way too worried over the things that shouldn't matter, but do anyway in todays society: weight. She's not fat or anything, just self-conscious, and very lonely. Put them together, things actually don't appear to clash.
