Jack hasn't been the same since Signe kicked him out of their apartment. Her last words still ring in his ears: you've changed. Desperate for a place to stay, he finds a roommate request stabled to every door in his complex: seven guys need just one more man to fill their house. Jack may not seem to know who he is anymore, but maybe this change of scenery can help.

When people see things out of the ordinary (or at least, their idea of ordinary), they get defensive. Violent. And all they have to do is see a familiar sign. If anyone has the "mark", they make do to cover it up. Of course, some aren't lucky, and the mark is in plain sight. If one ego is killed, the other egos sense their pain. If one is seriously injured, the egos feel their pain until it stops. And as we all know , there are two ways to stop pain- get cured or get killed.
