Letting Love In
You are programmed one way. Programmed to think one way and act one way and love one way, the normal way -- the way preferred by society, the way that everyone around you does. But what if that way changes? What if something or someone changes it? What if they introduce you to change? Is change bad? Is being different a bad thing? What if the difference makes you happy? Isn't happiness what we should be striving for, and nor normalcy? So picture this, you are normal. You are the definition of normal. Your friends are seemingly normal and you think your life is fine, because its normal. Then someone interrupts that flow of normalcy by being different. They aren't society's vision of normal - they are different. And the thing is, they have no normal, they believe there should be no such word as normal, which just happens to be the word your entire life is based on. What then? "I wouldn't mind watching you. Maybe we could tan together this summer." He suggested. "Without having tan lines." I could feel the smirk playing on his lips. I lightly slapped his chest. "Don't ruin my mood with your cockiness." "I think I made it a lot better." "Well, keep going and you'll have to deal with your boner yourself." I teased. "Why does it always come back to my boner?" He asked with a smile playing on his lips. "Because it's just so huge." I said absentmindedly. "Is it now?" He raised a brow at me. I stripped myself away from him and pouted as I folded my arms across my chest. "That's not what I was supposed to say." "Hmm," He nodded. "What were you supposed to say then?" "That it's just as annoying as you." I laughed. SUMMARY: After the death of her father, Blake moves in with her estranged mother and twin sister. Coping with her father's death was one thing and being involved in dirty work is another. Add a bad boy to fall for on her plate and things can't be more messed up. She tries to start a new life but ghosts from her past just aren't ready to leave her. Question is, can she make it through and have a happy ending or not? Give it a few chapters, nobody gets the hang of writing their first book immediately. It gets better story wise and writing wise, I promise. HIGHEST RANKING #1Concluida
Evolution
There are a lot of things you don't really think about until they happen to you. Take rape, for instance. I always thought, "That won't happen to me. I have a boyfriend. I trust him. He would never take advantage of me like that..." I couldn't have been more wrong. Love in this day and age is often confused for manipulation and abuse. The warning signs are here. The things we say will tell us everything that is wrong. You are worth more than what you think you are. It's not your fault. If they tell you otherwise, get out. Burn the bridge. Always remember someone is waiting for you to walk into their life. Someone needs you. Someone loves you. Getting away from all of the wrong people and finding the right ones could save you. I can promise you right now that it saved me. These are the journal entries and selected poems from my first experience of love that left a unpleasant taste in my mouth- quite literally. I am putting this out for the whole world to see because I hope everyone will learn from my experience. People can see. We have no excuses to continue living our lives in ignorance. ...WARNING... Write Better: Tips and tricks
The guide for aspiring fiction writers who want to improve, sharpen, review, and/or learn. Warning! This book encourages editing and contains many tips that often require revision. Practice makes perfect, and it's good to workout your mental muscles. The more you do now, the better your writing will be later (because you'll correct yourself *before* you get it on paper).
