"Hey... i'm your new neighbor. Do you have any eggs? I am trying to make some pancakes." His hand runs nervously through his hair as his eyes flicker form my to his feet. 

"Um yea sure!" I run and grab some from the fridge and dart back out. 

"Thanks!" 

"No problem!" I shut the door with a satisfying click and make my way up the stairs. 

Not even 7 steps up, I hear the door bell ring again. And I open it to the returning face of the new neighbor. 

"See, here's the thing. I don't know how to make pancakes."
