Clockwork has trained for years to join Slenderman. She first heard of him because of Jane, her closest friend, who had also joined him a few years prior. She had learned that a few of his Proxies were on a mission, so she had already learned the ropes, and was going about her business around the mansion.
And that's when Toby Rogers walked into her life...
