Two years have passed since Frieda had first walked on the ground of the Magic world ever since then she's learned and lost. Last year she met her best friend/brother James yet with James no longer by her side Frieda must come to realize it is once again just her and  the girls, the rainbow fairy hopes for a semi normal year yet to no luck as darkness stirs in the ocean below endangering both Lily and Daphne the two cousins Frieda would do anything for. With limited time and friends by her side Frieda and the Winx must embrace for another crazy year as the waves come crashing in.

Before Lucia tries to get out of the water, she was suddenly transformed into a mermaid by the two white witches. There are two ways to break the spell before her time is up by the next month. If Lucia gets a kiss by the merman, she'll be a mermaid for all eternity. If the princess gets a kiss from the prince on land, she will be human again. If not, she will be lost in the world of water. Will Lucia see her family again as a mermaid? How is she going to reach them if she can't swim as a mermaid? Princess Lucia was new to be a mermaid. She has a long way to see her pink tail fin works in the ocean floor.
