Diamond Girl

I remember that day the postman dropped it off. A small package that looked nothing out of the ordinary was left on the front step of my dorm. A small note lay perched on top with my name, Tori. Thinking nothing of it at the time, I leaned down and picked up the small package to find it was surprisingly heavy. I stumbled from the doorway over to the table in the dining room, placing it on top of my essay notes. Carefully prying the tape off the box I open it to reveal a blinding light. My hands started shaking as I sift them through the rich treasure that lay before me. "What's that?" I hear an unfamiliar male voice came from behind me. I turned around my mouth falls and I gulp down fear.
