Losing Hope

Lizzie was captured as a young girl, and has been trapped in a basement of the house in the woods for twelve years, since she was five. She knows no life other than the one her captors provide for her. Her only friend is the woman who keeps her locked away and the man who treats her as if she were his daughter. This is all she knows. Unknown to her, she knows secrets and has powers that could change this world, the world she's never known. When she's joined in the basement by someone who reveals everything to her and helps her escape, she discovers her captors were right- the world can't handle her.
