Everything started the night before we moved out of our town. I decided to take a late night swim at the lake I love the most. It was sort of a goodbye, a way to somehow wash the pain brought about by my parents' divorce, but then he appeared. As I was floating in the lake, watching the moon and the stars, I heard a noise in the water, and as I turned my head, I saw this guy drowning. I saved him, I brought him back to life, and then... I kissed him and fell in love with him. Things changed after that one stolen kiss. I ran away, and I never thought that I would see him once again, but I did. Little did I know that the moment we meet again, my life would never be the same. This is a story, of how I learn what love really is, of how I came to accept it, of how I came to fight for it. I'm Finn Vasco but that's not quite important right now. I'm a pretty sarcastic guy if I'm gonna be honest. I'm closed off and I literally only have one friend. I might hate everybody in my school... but there's this guy there. He's... let's say, dreamy, someone who I thought would never even acknowledge my existence. That guy who was too damn good to be true, who was too good for me, who was too good for... everybody! You get what I'm trying to say. Thomas needed a vacation, but that didn't mean he wanted one. His best friend convinced him to come down to his family's beach house for the summer to unwind, to relax for once. Thomas wasn't swayed easily, but he found himself on a flight to Florida regardless, albeit begrudgingly. Thomas intended to mope around for the three months, drink away his problems, and maybe get a tan in the process. However, his plans were thwarted when an unwanted houseguest from his past arrived the day after his getting there, leaving a bitter tang on the entire "vacation." Not to mention, Thomas was forced to share what he thought was his room with his best friend's wife's ridiculously handsome brother, Dallas. Thomas was on the cusp of drowning in the first week.
