A young girl finds herself in a minimart right next to her apartment trying to escape the yelling of her fighting parents. All she wanted was a Monster energy drink, not expecting to meet someone in the process.
A young boy angered at his mother leaves his apartment to go to a nearby store to grab a quick energy drink. Surly after drinking it he will be pumped to train again. Seeing a shorter girl trying to reach the same drink as him led to something unexpected.
Why did fate bring these troubled souls together that night? He could have bought the drink and left. She could have declined his offer. But neither one of them did. Both being troubled, they learn how to confide in each other and become friends. But with their sour attitudes, how will they be heroes?
