Like Ghosts in the Snow

Frank always walked to school; passing by the same park; same house; same streetlight;
They could be different; The park has a new slide; The house got repainted; The streetlight got graffitied
But one thing he passed never changed
The boy who's always drawing;
Same coat;
Same pencil;
Same sad look;
Same spot;
Everyday

Gerard always got out to draw early; no one to bother him; time before school;
He sat in the same spot; With his old coat; His favorite pencil; always the same
But something he saw never changed
The boy walking to school;
Same messy hair;
Same fading converse;
Same tired look;
Same pace;
Everyday

What happens when the two never-changing boys find eachother in a different place, now together rather than observed apart?
