He had his old uncle Bobby there as a father figure but he lived three states away, making him hard to see often. Now both brothers were quite lonely despite the girlfriends they both had. Dean had Lisa, a women who has short term memory loss. Sam has Jess who was getting sick with fevers from left and right. Both Winchester boys were sick of all of this work. Dean with having to deal with taking Lisa out on first dates almost every week to try and spark her memory. Then Sam constantly in the hospital because Jess was burning up. They also had to deal with there jobs, the older one worked at his mechanics shop, the younger was a lawyer. Now both were planning on spending Christmas alone. Dean in the shop and Sam in his library. Christmas was never something they could get into, everything was just too canny. But then they both get some new neighbors and began to discover some feelings they never knew were there.

He gets fragments of things every so often but they are of pain and torture and a redhead he doesn't know the name of. One day a pleasant memory comes through the cracks in his wall he can't place where it came from. The only thing he knows is he needs to find the man with the stunning green eyes. He was still awake at the time but he blacked out slowly after. The cops came in a little after. They accused him of doing it. He went to jail for 3 years. Cas doesn't remember anything. He doesn't know who Dean is. Gabriel didn't want him to know anything. Because they think Dean did it and that he just tricked Cas because he is gay. The story goes in after he has been in jail. The angels have fallen. Castiel lost his grace, and is now a human. He experiences hunger, cold, need, but still pondered at the thought of love. Dean takes him under his wing and helps him understand his new way of life; every aspect. Even though his grace is lost, the affair between a man and an angel is forbidden. Not to mention, an angel and a Winchester. In addition to the internal conflicts between the two, they also have to worry about the bounty put on Castiel's head by the other fallen angels.
