A few months later the world ended and the dead started walking and eating people. The world collapsed and it was survival of the fittest. Her brothers best friend saves her, her nephew and her brothers wife. Thinking the city was going to be safe only to shocked when they bomb it and the dead take over. Now In a small group outside of the city at an old quarry trying to survive the best they can. She meets a lot of new people but one particular man catches her eye. He's rugged, muscular, tall, attractive, know how to survive. Only problem is he seems to hate her. He avoids her at all cost and when they do come in contact he's harsh with her. What they don't realise is they have more in common they they know. They fall for each other and hard but hate that they have those feels from the fear of rejection and loss.

Beau Dixon is the youngest Dixon brother and also one of the more out going and protective ones. He didn't have the greatest childhood from his mom leaving him and his brother Daryl to his dad beating him to where he can barley walk. To his oldest brother Merle being a drunken loud idiot he's had only one positive person and that's his brother Daryl. When the world goes to fucking hell as he would say he jumped on his bike with his brother and meeting up with a group where there is a girl close to his age.
