James stepped up and sniffed the steam wafting from the potion, smiling at the scent of translucent lily flowers, broomstick polish and his mother's double chocolate brownies.

Remus wandered towards the cauldron, smelling brand new parchment, Honeyduke's finest chocolate and a mouthwatering perfume or cologne, and smirked dreamily.

Peter shuffled to the potion and grinned. He could smell fresh pine trees, liquorice wands and a familiar flowery fragrance he couldn't quite put his finger on.

Sirius strutted up to the hot cauldron and inhaled the scent of campfire smoke, sweet orange blossom and a deliciously dark cinnamon flavour he just couldn't seem to place.

Limerence | A James & Lily Story

34 parts Complete

Her lips are soft and mold perfectly to mine. The smell of vanilla is so overwhelming it's staggering, but I can't bring myself to care because it smells like Lily. I'm kissing Lily Evans. This a kind of sequel to my story Ephemeral. It's the same story just through James' point of view. (Disclaimer: I don't own any of these characters, other than the ones I make up. All rights remain to J.K. Rowling.) *Also, language is worse in this book than my other one because the marauders had potty mouths.* Story through Lily's eyes: Ephemeral by Episkeyyy
