As Jordan goes on taking revenge on bullies and making memories on her senior year and gathering experience for her novel, Alice Springfield suddenly comes into the picture, and Jordan can't help but fall in love with her.
Alice, valedictorian, book-addict, already accepted in college and on her way to freedom, finally realizes how shackled she is in her life, with a controlling mother and severe inferiority complex; and Jordan is bursting in on her life, taking her to parties, making her visible and popular, giving her good friends and all the freedom she never had- Of course, Alice can't help but fall for Jordan.
But can they make it? Can Alice accept how she is and be with Jordan, can Jordan finally do something meaningful with her life?
