Alexandra Stanley has had a difficult life. She's had to leave her country,adapt to a new community, lost her parents and battled depression and weight issues along the way.
With two rebellious teenage younger sisters to care for, more than a thousand miles away from her hometown of Seattle, and between working three day jobs to make ends meet and taking night classes to get her degree, 23-year-old Alex is struggling, to say the least.

All of a sudden, she finds herself moving back to Seattle, and all the memories she'd fled from all those years ago.
