(A Percy Jackson fanfiction)

The king of gods made a horrible mistake a long time ago, yet none of the other gods went against him in fear of the consequences.

The king did not want to seem like a fool so he made no choices what so ever to fix the mistake he made.

Unfortunately for one good hearted demigod that mistake made him a prisoner for a crime he did not commit.

What happens when the gods all need his help in the uprising threat?

Will he be their saviour once again, or their very own doom?

"Perseus Jackson," said the god of lightning. Percy caught a bit of uncertainty in his voice and had to stop an urge to smirk. "We are here to ask for your help."

The words seemed to be difficult for Zeus to get out. Percy nearly rolled his eyes. How hard was it to ask for help?

Oh, wait. He nearly forgot that Zeus was asking for help the demigod that he personally sent to literal hell. Silly him.

Percy raised an eyebrow again. He had a feeling he would be doing that a lot.

"And what possibly makes you think I will help you?" he asked, logically. The emotionless mask still attached on his face.

All are invited tomorrow at dawn to the funeral of the Prince of the sea and the heir of Poseidon, Commander of the Poseidon army - Triton, who departed us - victim to a horrible and nightmarish murder." Have you ever felt like everything you've ever worked for was for nothing? That every problem, every struggle, you've gotten through has led you to nowhere? Well let me tell you something. Everything happens for a reason, and everything is either good or bad or somewhere in between. That doesn't mean you should just lie down and take whatever the fates throw at you. Ever since I can remember I've never liked being tied down by rules. Anybody who knows me, which is apparently a lot of people, can tell you that. I've learned that sometimes you can change your definition. Your very existence can become something else if you only try so hard. I also learned that this comes with a price. What price I hear you asking? Well.... first I'd say you have to get rid of everything that makes you, you. Or maybe you get stripped of it. That's how you remake yourself. Start from only what you know and build from that. To become something different you've got to let go of what holds you down. In my case I was forced to. Yeah yeah. Go ahead and laugh, it's kinda cheesy. But Percy Jackson doesn't take any flack from critics so calm down. Anyway. The way I lost everything, the way everything I'd known and believed in, was whisked away from me just like that is within this book. This is a story about how I, Percy Jackson Scourge of Olympus, become something new. How? I got... well.... I got left behind, in the dust. My flaws finally caught up to me. But I rose from that. And this is how.... -- A B A N D O N E D

At some point I'm going to rewrite this because it's absolutely shitty lol but I'll leave this version up BC... Nostalgia? Idk. Anyway, this book will get a new chapter announcing when the rewritten version is up. Percy X Apollo Percy Jackson is tired. Of everything. He and Annabeth broke up after the fall into Tartarus, neither being able to look at the other the same way. Sure, they stayed friends, but that doesn't make Percy feel any better about it. Some of the gods are concerned, but Zeus is forbidding them from checking in on him, intent on leaving demigods alone despite all they've done for the Olympians. Apollo, however, is ignoring this order. He cares a little too much about Percy to watch him suffer in silence. But when a new threat arises, how will the Olympians handle it? How will the demigods handle it? This is very all over the place, but I think it turned out well in the end. In this story, Nico is overprotective of Percy (still solangelo though) as a best friend. He's forgiven Percy for the whole ordeal about Bianca and now they're pretty close, both confiding in each other about things they never thought they'd tell a soul. The ships are: Pipabeth - Piper + Annabeth Chrisse - Clarisse + Chris Solangelo - Nico + Will Jaleo (platonic) - Jason + Leo because I despise Caleo sorry lmao Perpollo - Percy + Apollo I do not own any of these characters, all rights are to Rick Riordan other than the storyline/plot. YAYAY HIGH RANKINGS THAT IM PROUD OF: 5th in pjofandom as of 19th October 2024, out of 3.71 or something thousand stories (how tf)
