An orphan princess. An exiled queen. A demeaned wife. An abducted victim. A mother burnt to ashes.
Her story has been famous for ages.Story of the heroine of the oldest epic Ramayan. Sita. Maithili.Janaki.
The story of a woman elevated to the highest ranks of the ideal feminine. A sati.
But at the cost of what?
This story is based on Ramayana. But the characters r mere humans with human tendencies.
Pl. don't argue these are Gods n their curses will befall me n my story☺
_____________
BACKGROUND
****************
king janak of mithila was sita's father. Some accounts say sita as a daughter born to the king out of his union with the land. Some say sita as king Janak's adopted daughter found when he was ploughing.

Its not difficult to read between the lines n understand exactly what he was ploughing into when he had sita. sowing wild oats and reaping the harvest.😊why would a king suddenly till land n find a child? IMO the child would have died while the ploughing happened😨
Sita is referred to as daughter of earth.

Vasudha is NOT a character in ramayana. She's a tribal woman created outta my imagination.history always glosses over nasty aspects of kings.a daughter born out of a kings union with the land or earth goddess sounds metaphorical n less weird when u think of it as his child born outta wedlock with a tribal woman.Someone who wasn't a queen n whose name meant earth.
Vasudha means earth.she belongs to a lower caste.sita's birth mother.

This story is gonna be entirely human. No godliness or miracles exist here...which are extremely hard to rationally believe.
Rama was a great king. Worshipped as a god. But he too was human after all.

characters here r compelled by human motives. Some characters maybe imaginary just to fill gaps in storytelling.

This story does not wish to hurt religious sentiments. It only tells the story of a woman. Where she came from..who she knew..what happened to her.

Sita. JANAKI.
