While delivering the last shipment of the precious rock, Mace is distracted by a mysterious light and ends up driving off the freeway. He wakes up in the hospital with a strange voice in his head, telling him all sorts of weird conspiracies, like the fact that he was abducted from another planet eighty years ago despite only being twenty-five, and his brain was re-wired by a neuro-chip plugged deep into his spine. Mace doesn't trust the voice at first. But after witnessing footage of his own death, he starts to believe in the conspiracy and starts plotting an escape from the prison planet.
