Luna was a thirteen-year-old girl with a troubled life. She was put into foster care at a young age after her father murdered her mother and spent years in and out of abusive households or with families who didn't want to deal with the consequences that abuse had on her mental health. One day, Hunter comes in and it's like the two have met their match. They're both what they need for each other and find themselves helping each other heal. But just because life is good now, doesn't mean the trials and tribulations are over. Luna faces things no teenager should ever have to deal with and struggles to find who she's supposed to be through all the shadows of her past that never seem to pass. Will she make it out alive? And even if she does, how will she face the trauma?
