Catherine Eaton is eager for her choosing ceremony. Her bother, Tobias, transferred to Dauntless three years ago, and now it's her turn to follow his footsteps. She is excited to leave her twisted family to be free: own a new name, wear new clothes, find new friends, and see her brother. But three years is a long time. She can barely remember what her brother looks like, and she too has changed quite a bit. How will she find him?
But there are other things too: she must manage with her friends, training, and a sadistic instructor that just won't leave her alone. At least she has Four and Tris, who have her back when things get bad. But will they always be there to protect her? What happens when they aren't?
Join Catherine in her desperate search to relocate her family, adapt to the brute lifestyle the Dauntless offer, and struggle with her demons that constantly haunt her in her sleep and her consciousness. Watch her become a new, improved, braver person: Not Catherine.

Pit

21 parts Complete

x Second book of the Chasm series x "Pit is a negative term, a sunken hole, a state of deep emptiness. I wonder if the Dauntless embraced the name for their center of life just as they embraced their lifestyle that drives them in to such a place." An unexpected political move drives Tris back into the arms of who she has been needing for months, causing her to disregard the issue of being a fugitive. Upon hearing the truth about the suicide serum, a sense of urgency is spurred to solve the problem of a certain group's uncontrollable behavior. But Tris and Tobias must make the decision: is it better to keep everyone under a blanket of deceit, or to reveal the truth that will divide the city and instigate an unavoidable war? WARNING: This story contains discussion of suicide, swearing, and suggestive themes.
