This is a story I wrote in 2016 when I was in a mental health clinic dealing with my own depression and suicidal thoughts. Viewer discretion is advised. The hunters were too close by now, but the two found themselves ready to jump down a large hole. They'd rather die than have to go back. So with one step back... they found themselves falling to their death. But... they didn't die. It had been less than a day after your best friend Chara, had gone missing. You were already really worried about her (Chara is Female in this) The others didn't look so worried but that's because you and Chara were pretty much slaves to them, although you thought that everyone has some sort of kindness within. You then decided to go to the only place Chara ever wanted to go, Mount Ebot. So this isn't a full on Sans X reader, it does have it in it so there that. But I'm sure it'll get better along the way. So most of the art in this is going to actually be mine, the art I used for the cover, is not however. The credit for that art goes to the actual artist. The music I use isn't mine either. I do NOT own Undertale (Though I wish it did) It belongs to Toby. Also there might be some swearing in this... MIGHT.

Was this truly the last RESET? Sans wondered. But he knew only Frisk would tell, only this young girl would decide his future. He hated the thought of it at first, but hatred began to grow numb after he figured out he had no say in his own future. He had to admit though, Frisk was pretty reasonable, it was Chara who was the maniac. But she was gone now, so what was the anticipating, eerie, feeling that he had in his bones? The feeling that something wasn't right, of course, this timeline was already incredibly strange. The feeling sat in his in the pit of his stomach, tying itself into knots, until that fateful rainy day when all of his questions would be answered. A fine retreading of the UNDERTALE AU "Storyshift" created by VoltraTheSparking, DUSTSHIFT's tragedy pits a distorted, gaslit version of the Underground, spearheaded by the incompetent ruler of the monarchy, SANS. This society would gradually be challenged by the Solar Warriors, a rebellion that directly opposed his rule, sparked by tensions risen by the difference between SANS's mundane autocracy and his father GASTER II's militaristic dictatorship. {NOTICE: Please be mindful that this take contains visceral descriptions of violence & gore, domestic violence, and child abuse.} However, all of this would skyrocket thanks to the sudden introduction of one human child named Chara to the monster society. An outlier amidst the many fallen humans, she was allowed to live her fullest life in spite of SANS's various promises to his people to shatter the barrier which held the entire species in submission, a grand conspiracy. This would all culminate in one human's intrusion into the world of monsterkind known only by their stage name Shifty. Supervised by GASTER II's bygone machine celebrity METTA, they would embark on a relentless spree across the kingdom, slaughtering hundreds of innocents in their path for the sake of dramatic flair.
