"I then slowly turned around to see someone lying on the ground about a yard away. I walked over to that area.
I finally reached that person to realize that it was a dead body of a guy who looked about 15 or 16. He was laid out in the open on his back where he only wore shorts and was pale white.
There was no signs of any bruises or scars on him. However his mouth looked forced open since it was stuffed full of dirt with a tiny sprout growing out of it. His mouth acted as a flower pot for the plant."

((This is targeted to people 16+)) The smell of blood was overwhelming. The scent of the short teen used to have was gone, replaced with the putrid smell of death and rot that covered the whole room and the killer himself. Blood smudged all over the teen and onto the older man as he attempted to escape. He got hungry and tired. He just wanted to eat and then sleep. He was preparing the girl, cutting her body apart and tearing the flesh off the bones, which is why the room was such a mess with her blood. Now, he had the boy in his hands. The hunger overtook him. The sharp pain of large "canine" teeth being plunged into his neck made Cameron scream. It was cut short, his whole body freezing up as the crazy man sunk his large fangs into his neck, ripping a large chunk of the boy's flesh in between his teeth. The pain only got worse when he felt the killer tug harshly, pulling his flesh out... ----- A gang of delinquents becomes lost in a forest, pursued by a frightening masked figure. He hunts them down individually, resembling a stalking wolf, wielding a crude knife fashioned from animal bones. As they struggle to survive, the teens also grapple with the harsh environment that challenges them. If you go down to the woods today... Well, in this town, you probably won't come back. Unexplained deaths and disappearances are normal around here. In Haltonshaw Grove, we tell these real life horror stories to our kids like bedtime tales. They help us learn from a young age to stay out of the forest after dark. But one halloween, we didn't listen- Me and four boys. We broke the rules and we paid the price. We barely made it out alive and now we live with the trauma, the nightmares, the memories. Seven years later, the events of that night, like most things tend to do around here, have come back to haunt us. We never talked about the night we ran in the forest, never spoke afterwards at all really, but now we're going to need each other if we're going to survive what's coming. So when Amanda's memories seem to correlate with the events of the darkest nights in town history, she's left with a mystery on her hands. One that holds all the explanations she craved, for all the years plagued by those thoughts. But going down that route is a path of no return. She....I....... I was running through the thick branches, pushing the leaves out of my way with all my might. I had to get away. The wet, brown, ground made it easier for me to slip and let her red, chilling hands slip around my innocent, scarred body, not knowing where she would take me next. I was almost out of breath, but I had to keep running if I wanted to make it out of this forest alive. My red dress was getting torn to shreds, and my hands and feet had mud all over them. My long, bushy brown hair was getting hooked on every possible branch, making me push my hair in the back of my dress, just like I used to when I was forced to cook everyday for my loathsome 'parents'. Returning back to the real world, I had to stop otherwise I would black out. I took a few seconds to catch my breath silently, and to look around to see if she was there behind me. I was looking up at the tall, old tree when I heard a twig snap behind me. Just like in the horror films. I turned and ran in the same direction, not daring to look back and see her wretched face fixed on my body. I sprinted and sprinted, but slowed down when I saw I was heading to nowhere but a ragged cliff. The unknown would me known if I continued to run and jump. I stopped two metres away from the cliff and looked down to see a valley so far down. If I jump..... I die. If I let her take me..... the unfair horribleness awaits me. I had no choice. "In my 19 years of life I never really experienced anything worth telling a story about. Usually when something exciting happened to me, which was rare, I'd sum up the key parts and move on. But then I died, and I finally had a story worth talking about. Anyway, how I died isn't too exciting. Just a basic car accident. You know, icy roads, snow coming down hard, a car slides into your lane and then boom. You're standing in the street watching some guy trying to shake you alive and all you can think is, "Damn, I'm dead." Although, I'm sure you've never experienced that, or else I'd be telling you this story face to face. Anyway, that guy begging me to wake up, he's pretty important, remember him. The dates match. Everything added up. How could I not realize it? The bodies. The charges. The gossip. The rumours. The accuracy. The deaths. Every single body went missing. They were right, I should have listened. I knew something was weird, but not this bad. Church on Sundays, book club on Mondays, Bible study on Wednesdays, their kids' games on Tuesdays and Thursdays, Charity donations on Fridays, and dates on Saturdays. I guess its true what they say. The biggest monsters don't hide in the darkness of your closet. Instead, they smile in your face in broad daylight. The worst demons don't conceal themselves in your shadow. They thrive in the light. The darkest souls own the brightest smiles. A light so captive, you don't even realize they've gotten so close. Don't even realize when you've befriended them and their darkness has touched you. So, Sometimes, to find the ugliest monster, you have to look in the mirror. P.S, the tags should serve as a warning as well. This story is my own, which means I own the characters, plot, etc. However, I did get some inspiration from James Patterson's WOMEN'S MURDER CLUB, just with a slight twist ;)
Stillness isn't empty
On a seemingly ordinary school trip, a group of high school students is thrust into a series of inexplicable and eerie events that force them to confront death... Unless of course, they can work together to defy their fate. *** Ciel point of view*** I agreed to go on a two days long school trip and then come back home. It was supposed to ease off my mind, reduce my stress and improve my mood and wellbeing. But this school trip was different. The forest had been watching over us and scheming our demise. Soon, we were trapped inside of it, like bugs caught in a giant spider web with no other fate than to wait for our death. Or so, it seemed.
