The Black didn't have a good life. Constantly being abused and neglected. Being forced to race and pushed passed his limit over and over. Carrying scars and wounds all over his body, easy to be seen because of his coloring. All he feels is pain and agony. But suddenly, something happens. While out racing, he lost his footing and fell, breaking his leg in the process. He was forced to get up, despite the pain, and was taken to the trailer. Four months later. His owner had abandoned him, leaving him the only horse in the messy barn. One day, he was found by the ASPCA, and taken into caring hands. They treated his wounds, fed and watered him, gave him a clean stall to stay in, and also fixed his leg, which had been broken but healed wrong. They treated him with care, which was something he had never known before. They went to court to get custody of him. But the question is: Will they get custody of him, or will he be forced to go back into the "care" of his original owners? --- LEXY HERE.
