Meet Aerowyn Blackwell.

Before the incident, she's was a unique, brilliant, adventurous, and funny fourteen-year-old girl. She was a hard worker, had loyal amazing friends, and a respectable boyfriend. She wasn't perfect, but she was a beautiful girl living a fascinating life.

That was before the party that Rebecca Lawson threw and changed her life forever...

Now Aerowyn is diagnosed to see a psychiatrist to help her battle her anxiety, and depression in order to endure the tragic event she faced a year prior. She hasn't cracked a smile in months, hasn't spoken to anyone other than her family, nor stepped into school again. However, when Aerowyn tries to change her life, her parents decided to give her a fresh start, at the boarding school "Greyhouse Magnet Academy" where news of the tragedy hasn't spread yet.

Now meet Jace Byers.

He was a quiet, dyslexic, nice, and charming boy. But that was the old Jace. Two years ago his family died in a house fire, that he accidentally set. Now he is just Jay. A depressed, abused boy who finally has the chance to change his life around when he gets the letter that might help him for the greater good.
