The rustling of the leaves outside the high school window filled the heightened senses of a certain raven haired boy as a woman guides him through the maze of a school he now goes to, unfortunately. The clicking of her heels echo through the empty halls of the school.
"Alright, Izzy, are you sure you got it from here..?"
Isaiah, the boy in question, rolls his dull eyes behind his glasses in response. "I'll be fine, Liv. I'm not a child..." He mumbles his last sentence, hoping his sister wouldn't hear it. She did, of course, but chose to ignore it to please her little brother. She brushes a couple cat hairs off his shirt, pulling him into a hug when she's done. "Call me at lunch okay?" She smiles at the raven haired boy.
He rolls his eyes once more, but a small smile pulls at the corners of his mouth despite his efforts not to. "Of course Liv." Olivia smiles, satisfied with his answer, she steps away. Isaiah is quiet for a moment, hand hovering over the doorknob. He turns his head towards his sister.
"...You can leave now Liv."
Olivia purses her lips, before hugging Isaiah once more. "Alright, alright...I got the clue. Remember to call me." Isaiah nods with a small huff, and with that his sister reluctantly walks down the hallway. Isaiah waits for the click of her heels to fade away before opening the door. The teacher looks to the door, pausing her lecture on 'those damned vape things' as she called them a few minutes ago. A small shiver makes its way up Isaiah's spine, sensing all the eyes on him as he speaks up.
"Isaiah Moore. Is this Mrs. Lewin's class?"
