You may think this is one of your typical war stories...and you'd be right. To some degree. The only thing that makes my story stick out from the rest, is that this wasn't supposed to be my story. It was his. He was the one who always wanted to be a soldier; ever since he was a little boy. I just wanted to get through college and hope my degree took me somewhere. I didn't expect things to go the way that they did. Hell, I don't think anybody did. Life is funny that way sometimes.
Ethan and Abigail Jones grew up the typical American kids fit with a blue collar dad and a teacher mother. Their lives were outlined and easy roads. Until Ethan decided to enlist in the Army rather than go to college as everyone expected. He spent years as a soldier and loved it. The family was supportive but scared. And who could blame them? Abigail went off to college the year after her brother enlisted. Lived at home, worked a part time job, studied to become a teacher like their mother, and was nearly engaged. Remembering You
Sean Owens: a stoic, popular jock that's mostly known for his sporty lifestyle and his good looks at his school. Everything comes out but when her brothers react speechless to a sad memory Chloe tell she takes it as a sign in a bad way. Chloe takes a step into water. Her brothers have to say a goodbye? They don't know is she'll wake up. Chloe is in hospital lifeless and her family and friends surround her.. Will she wake up or will she take a trip to her parents? A new guy in class? The bad boy starts getting me involved? A new group of friends? What happens when things start to turn over for Chloe? She becomes more confident and gains more trust. But as the same time she cracks. It's a bumpy ride but she has plenty of help along the way- lets just hope her brothers don't interfere to much on the ride.
