In present day, Torrentshard is the loyal deputy of EarthClan, serving happily alongside his leader and mate, Whitestar. He's a worried cat who often tends to fear for the well-being of the clan, but he always feels as if there's something missing. As if there was some other problem he should be worrying about, even when he knows his clan is safe. Strangely enough, no cat seems to know how Torrentshard turned up in the first place. The other cats of EarthClan only know the vaguest of information, simply that he was a rogue who was found on the outskirts of territory, like many other cats in the clan. He'd never given any explanation of his arrival, and even now, he seems to have a deeply rooted hatred for rogues; despite formerly being one himself. Where did Torrentshard come from, and why has he never revealed anything of his past?
Author's Note: Torrentshard's Genesis is a rendition of the backstory of my original character, Torrentshard. EarthClan is a real group roleplay with a large and literate writer base that takes place on Kik. Whitestar (Whiteraven) and all other EarthClan characters mentioned belong to their creators. All art in this mini-novel is owned by me,(@azuxae on Instagram just a little self advertisement oops) Warriors and its concept belongs to Erin Hunter. He is strong and independent, but his morals quickly change when he is visited by the most hated cat in all of the Clans. ***DISCLAIMER*** The time gap between Chapter 7 and Chapter 8 is literally a YEAR, so, I must warn you that the cleanliness of Chapter 8 and onwards completely emulates the first seven chapters of this book. I certainly don't think that they are BAD, but I am definitely going to fix them up once I've got more time (just some little grammar tweaks, updating plot points, and fixing some dialogue). So, just keep that in mind when you read this. I hope you still enjoy!
