In present day, Torrentshard is the loyal deputy of EarthClan, serving happily alongside his leader and mate, Whitestar. He's a worried cat who often tends to fear for the well-being of the clan, but he always feels as if there's something missing. As if there was some other problem he should be worrying about, even when he knows his clan is safe. Strangely enough, no cat seems to know how Torrentshard turned up in the first place. The other cats of EarthClan only know the vaguest of information, simply that he was a rogue who was found on the outskirts of territory, like many other cats in the clan. He'd never given any explanation of his arrival, and even now, he seems to have a deeply rooted hatred for rogues; despite formerly being one himself. Where did Torrentshard come from, and why has he never revealed anything of his past?
Author's Note: Torrentshard's Genesis is a rendition of the backstory of my original character, Torrentshard. EarthClan is a real group roleplay with a large and literate writer base that takes place on Kik. Whitestar (Whiteraven) and all other EarthClan characters mentioned belong to their creators. All art in this mini-novel is owned by me,(@azuxae on Instagram just a little self advertisement oops) Warriors and its concept belongs to Erin Hunter. Every disaster that threatens a Clan means StarClan will come and save you. You'll receive a prophecy that will save everything you love. The peril is vanquished in a battle, and there is no need for sleeping with one eye open anymore. StarClan will forever watch over you from your nest and keep you safe. That is what has been passed down from generations. Not every tale has to end like that: StarClan saving everyone with the chosen cat, everyone loving the hero or heroine - but it always does. So facing a challenge such as missing cats shouldn't be a challenging task. Moons pass on, cats keep disappearing faster and faster; nobody is doing anything to prevent the case. Everyone is relying on StarClan to send the prophecy to their medicine cat, just hoping that one day, the fiasco will end. Yet that's not the way fear works its way into hearts. Warriors, once brave and strong, now cowering behind one another. Apprentices with their eagerness to learn, now afraid of the outside world and going missing. As they get older, the time grows nearer for them to choose successors who will receive their immortality which has been passed on to them by their own mentors. But this group is hiding something, and it is only a matter of time before it is revealed to the chosen successors. Petalwish is unsure if she really should be loyal to CliffClan. She loves her clanmates dearly, but the clan deputy seems to watch their every move, just waiting for any cat to slip up. But it's the clan she was raised in. So, she should be loyal to them, right? Keenkit always figured he and his littermates were normal kits who would all become apprentices and be able to train together. But when a strange cat takes his sister out of StreamClan on the day of their apprentice ceremony, he quickly realizes such hope has become impossible. Sunpaw just wants to prove to his clan, BreezeClan that he can become a great warrior. But it isn't as easy as it sounds. Even though his rival apprentice Slowpaw is much younger than him, he is always beaten in battle training and he can never catch nearly as much prey. His mentor doesn't make it any better either. Pounceheart is always treating him like some helpless kit and he worries he'll never be able to complete his warrior assessment. Being a healer who suffers from severe anxiety isn't easy, but Twitchpaw knows as long as her mentor is there, she can get through it. In AshClan, Slatepaws's sharp attitude and ego is finally catching up to him and he is forced to go through a very harsh wakeup call which forces him to change his perspective, despite his reluctance. In MountainClan, Mountainstar's life has changed completely in only two moons and she struggles to be a good leader while trying to build confidence, pride and respect within her Clan of rouges, kittypets and loners. In MoonClan, Leopardpaw is happy to return to her normal life as a warrior but tensions and unrest are brewing a storm within the normal peaceful Clan and as an apprentice, she fears there is nothing she can do to stop it. In SunClan, Blossompaw is fighting a constant battle with her self-worth and second guessing all of her skills, always pushing herself to the brink of exhaustion and still never feeling good enough, just desperately trying to be a good SunClan warrior. Owlpaw has finally set her paws on the path of a medicine cat, but despite her best efforts she still feels out of place and in the way, and to make things worse she is faced with another mission from StarClan, and if she fails this one; death and violence could consume all five Clans.Complete

This is a fanfiction based upon the Erin Hunter series, "Warriors". This book was something I tinkered with quite a few years ago, when I started reading the Warrior Cats series. Eventually, I gained the confidence to turn it into some sort of story of my own, introducing my cats (in real life) as well as game characters I've made online.
