In the year 3816 overpopulation is an unstoppable and overwhelming epidemic. For years there was attempts to limit the number of children that could be had per couple but even then barely a dent was made, people still filled homes and the streets at an uncontrollable rate and only the worlds wealthiest were allowed the luxury of a private house. Short of genocide or forcing sterilization there seemed to be no real stop to the disaster. At the worst and most dangerous point the government came up with what they thought to be the kindest and best way to handle the issue. All children and teens will be forced out into space in hopes of finding and colonizing a new planet to host the new generations of the human race. These kids will lose everything they have ever known without so much as a goodbye.
One of these unlucky people is August Fray, a young eighteen year old girl with secrets that lay deep in fire, blood and death. Through the trails and struggles of space and a highly oppressive system August must learn to submit to a broken system or rebel and risk the exposure of secrets her family died to keep hidden.All Rights Reserved

Evita isn't ready to leave.
