She peered outside the window. Sighning at the cat, she went out to pick it up but it got out of her grasp slipping straight away into a pool of mud. It started to meow.

 "You stupid little cat. Dig your grave in hell." Saying this, she walked away. 

 "Harsh" the voice made her jump. Snaking his arms around her waist, he pulled her closer until her back collided with his chest. Breathing her sent in, he gave her a lazy smile even though she couldn't see it.

 "You do things like this that makes you look even more beautiful. Then how do you expect me to go away from you? You're making it harder for me you know!?"

 Feeling him so close behind her, his heart on her back, slamming hard, she was frozen. Her body couldn't function. She couldn't move. She couldn't breathe. 

 Taking shaky breaths, she finally broke the silence. Almost like a whisper, she finally uterred the name she thought she'd never think of, never speak of. 

 "Lexis"
