Sahnya is seventeen and she lives in the exotic lands of India, among the poorest of the poor. She leads a harsh yet carefree life until a fire destroys her village, tearing her apart from everything she loved. She is then forced to survive on the streets as she journeys to the north of the country.
She meets the strangest of characters on her journey, who eventually end up joining her. This includes Farid, the boy from her village, whom she had always despised with all her heart. The story shows the beauty and diversity of India, along with the life-threatening troubles of the poor. Will Sahnya make it past all the hurdles thrown at her? Who will she meet on the way? And of course, how will she deal with the intense love-hate relationship between her and Farid?
This story is not fantasy. It is simply set in a fantastic country.
Elliot Jensen and Elliot Fintry have a lot in common. They share the same name, the same house, the same school, oh and they hate each other but, as they will quickly learn, there is a fine line between love and hate.
