Ruby Miller is a normal student with a normal life. Going to school, has friends, and lets her table partner in English class copy her homework. It couldn't be more normal.
As she's sitting in English class one day, she lets her table partner the part of the homework that he didn't complete. Their relationship is weird. They use to be best friends, connected by the hip when they were younger. Now they've become distance, only taking to each other during this one class.
About halfway through class a man walks into the class wearing a ski mask. Everyone freezes considering he pulls out a gun right away. No one knows who it is except for her table partner Scott, but he doesn't say anything.
The man takes both Ruby and Scott. Ruby is confused about it, and is only confused more when the man takes off his mask. It's Scott's older brother Tyler.
He takes them to a house far away from the town that they live in. He makes sure that they can't leave, and both Scott and Ruby are confused about what's going on. They're basically allowed to do whatever they want, except leave.
Join Scott and Gracie as their lives are turned inside out, and remember, not all stories get a happy ending.
