Our world has abandoned us. Our people are starving as the PIPS, the People in the Interest of Protecting Society, watch in the lap of luxury, backed by the world's military forces and paid-off politicians. But, there is hope.

Hope came in the form of Wiles, a mysterious woman that they say was once an esteemed member of the PIPS before her defection, taking millions upon millions worth of data with her. She created the RISEN, the Recon, Intelligence, Sharpshooter, and Explosives Network. Now, we travel all over the world in the U.B. Georgia, an unregistered ship so as to avoid detection, recruiting anyone and everyone we can to our cause. The ship is our home base, but we have many ground operations on top of it. It's insanely illegal, highly dangerous, and our turnover rate isn't anything to sneeze at, either. But, if you've gotten this far, then we could use all of the help we can get.

In the year 2050, as humanity reached the pinnacle of technological advancement, the United Nations launched the most ambitious initiative in human history. Under the supervision of NASA, the UN, and the enigmatic organization known as Pan Spatial, two powerful global coalitions were formed: UEC (United Earth Concord) and GDA (Global Defense Alliance). These were not just alliances of nations - they were humanity's last line of defense, created to protect Earth from threats far beyond the stars. For six years, the project thrived. Massive joint exercises, reminiscent of RIMPAC, became routine, and global cooperation ushered in an era of unprecedented peace and strength. But everything changed in 2056. During a large-scale naval operation in the Pacific Ocean, sensors detected an anomaly unlike anything recorded before. A violent storm erupted, unleashing blinding violet lightning and collapsing all communication systems. The sea churned and split open, forming a colossal vortex - a gateway to the unknown. Eight nations, along with their fleets, were dragged into the heart of the Bermuda Triangle. When the storm subsided, they found themselves not merely displaced - but thrown back in time, into an unfamiliar era of naval warfare and uncharted seas. Confusion turned to resolve as the stranded fleets faced a daunting mission: to survive, adapt, and find a way home while navigating the treacherous waters of the past. Yet beyond the mist of history, a greater danger awaits. A powerful extraterrestrial civilization known as the Néxar Dominion - born from both biological invaders and multidimensional entities - has begun its silent conquest. And this time, the stakes are far greater than a single war or a single world. Humanity's very existence across the flow of time itself now hangs in the balance.

Seventy-four years has been long enough. The way of the infamous Hunger Games has been altered. No longer is every Gamemaker out to devise the worst means of torture and death for every tribute. No longer are the people of Panem outwardly tolerant of President Snow's murderous actions. Under the facade of a normal group of Gamemakers, several rebellious citizens have begun an experiment which, if it succeeds, will make use of technology both to rescue the tributes before they are dead and then deposit the brainwashed children back in time. They have to try it. No one knows what horrors future Hunger Games may bring, and the desperate rebels are willing to try anything. Meanwhile, in the mountainous regions of District 2, Cato Hadley and Clove Kentwell have trained their whole lives for the Games. Nevertheless, their ambitions change when they, without meaning to, find themselves in the Games together. They are both determined to win. But if they don't, what will happen to them? The brainwashed tributes who land in New York City know nothing of who they are or where they are from. They do not remember Panem, or the Games, or even their own names. This is a science fiction story based off the Hunger Games and its characters. Disclaimer: I do not own any of the Hunger Games! This story is based around a plot twist I created, but all rights go to Suzanne Collins, the author of the original series. Disclaimer no. 2: this was a first draft written by a very awkward fifteen-year-old me; please treat it as such.
