Anakin Skywalker never knew why he always saw a strange girl in his dreams - one he couldn't interact with. He was only a spectator in these dreams, forced to watch as the girl grew up as he did.
He was good at watching. He watched as she slowly turned from a happy, active, passionate girl to a quiet and reserved woman. He watched as her cheeks turned pale, and then flushed with a redness that never seemed to disappear. He watched as the light slowly left her eyes, and she slept her days away with a never-ending fatigue that seemed to consume her.
And he watched as she cried herself to sleep from the pain.
He couldn't do it - he couldn't just watch anymore. He had to take action, the sooner the better. Something was wrong with the girl and he wasn't going to stand on the sidelines as a mere observer anymore.
He would save Havena Jinn if it was the last thing he did.

The OC/reader is chronically ill in this story. I have been dealing with my own chronic illness and will be writing based off of those experiences, thoughts, and frustrations. I'm still learning to cope with everything, and I know how much it means to me to have my struggles be seen in media. I'm writing this with the hopes that, if any of you are also experiencing something similar, perhaps this could help you to realize you are not alone.)
