He never payed attention in any of his classes and always failed. Well, that's what Eddie assumed. 

You see, Eddie considered himself lucky to only have one class with Richie, so he was only sure that was true in that one class. But that didn't stop him from hearing the rumours from everyone else. 

But, maybe that one grade ten math class Eddie has with Richie might just change Richie, for the better. 

Or maybe, it won't.

Eddie tries to ignore his feelings for Richie, he tells himself that he doesn't like his tall tough best friend, but feelings don't just go away. When Richie starts drifting off and starts hanging out less with his friends, Eddie suspects something is going on. There's trouble at home for Richie, he hasn't told anyone what happens though, not even Eddie. Eddie tries to figure out why his best friend is acting up, in the process of doing so, he learns that Richie isn't as tough as he seems. Everyone has a weak spot. Everyone breaks at some point. (Pennywise never came to Derry.) (The losers never separated or moved away.) (NOTE: This fanfic contains strong language. Also, their teens in this, if anyone was wondering or curious)

Richie learns to become comfortable with his own secret once Connor threatens to reveal it to the school. Connor is out to hurt him, to get revenge on Richard Tozier. But for what? Soon he realizes the way to hurt Richie, is to go after the thing he cherishes most. Something is off to group of friends and they begin to suspect play from a demon fought years ago, seemingly gone forever. Change happens whether you like it or not. Something's can't die. I own none of the characters. If you haven't seen It chapter 1 and 2 you're gonna be confused. A lot of the important details in this story are based off the two movies and the behind the scenes and deleted scenes stuff.
