"The thing you need to know is, it's all about sex.

It's true. In fact they say men think about sex every twenty-eight seconds. Of course that's straight men. With gay men it's every nine."

Twenty nine year old advertising executive Michael Clifford and his best mate Calum Hood are at their usual haunt, having a night out clubbing. Michael meets Luke, a teenager venturing out in the gay nightlife for the first time. Michael takes Luke home with him for the night, and gradually Luke begins to find out more about gay life through a close circle of friends.

A blatant take on the Queer As Folk TV series that ran in the UK 1999-2000 & was remade in the USA 2000-2005. These series dealt with gay rights and social issues featuring storylines concerning homophobia, HIV & AIDS, Proposition 14 (USA version), violence/gay bashing, coming out, drug use, gay marriage & parental rights amongst others.

The original UK series was set in Manchester, the US version in Pittsburg, I have set this version in Sydney at the same time (Early 90's) and have kept the original music that was first used in the UK version and re-used in the US version. I've renamed the characters (obviously) and also place names etc to suit the change in city. I've also added in some Australian-ness to suit the location. If you haven't seen the TV series, the UK version was ground breaking for it's time, nothing like it had been seen before and it sent controversial waves rippling which Showtime picked up on. They re-made it for a US audience, using nearly the exact same script before carrying it on and expanding it into 5 series. I highly recommend you watch if you can! Could have all the women by just a click of a button if wasn't for being in love with the same gender- scared? He was just a little 'inconvenienced'. One party changed everything though- to many drinks and making out with the wrong gender to send his fake perfect life crashing down when discovering out the first person he came out to, kissed, and had sex with was Callum Micheals. Mr pretty boy. Like life flashing before his eyes- Eric questioned whether Callum remembered or not? *** The smell of a nose itching fabric softer, too expensive for his parents to buy and the feel of warm feather pillows is what Eric woke up to. His body was somewhat tired, and sweaty but besides that, he felt good- he even let out a morning moan sitting up with his arms to look around, he was at Jackson's. A light ache from his hangover rang through his head reminding him that he drank a lot last night seconds later, he opened his mouth to hiss or groan in pain, but the groan that brought silence to the room wasn't his- it was, "Callum?!" Calum Hood was the stereotypical jock in high school. He was the star of the football team and basketball team. The majority of his old classmates loved him, envied him, or wanted to be him. Now that he was at the University of Melbourne on a football scholarship, he was hoping to reach that status yet again. He wasn't going to university for the classes and academics; he was going to pursue his career in football. He wasn't a lame geek that was going to spend his weekends studying and doing boring homework that wouldn't benefit him. He wasn't going to let those nerds annoy him with their smarts either like he did in high school. Not to mention that he was a full-blooded frat boy. Classes and grades and nerds weren't about to get in his way of that. Ashton Irwin was considered a nerdy hipster. He was more into the arts and academics of things, his strong suit being English and art history. Not only that, but he had a passion for music as well. He was a talented singer that helped get him a full ride scholarship to the University of Melbourne, along with his exceptional knowledge in English. Though, he wasn't at all popular in high school. He was quite the opposite and he was okay with it. He didn't want to be popular and have his every move analyzed. It also meant that he would've had to hangout with the jocks, who he didn't like at all. Now, due to his uni class schedule, he would be free of the majority of the jocks and hopefully frat boys. They were bullies and he didn't want to have to be associated with any of them. He would make sure of that. But, despite what Ashton and Calum think, life isn't fair sometimes and you have to live with the hand you're dealt. Literally. ---- Copyright 2016 to Brianna (@1D_HarryStyles_1D)

[boyxboy] Cameron Patterson and Aaron Williams have hated each other for as long as either of them can remember. Because they play positions that counter each other, it was easy for them to hate each other. When one of them is playing well, the other is playing badly. On multiple occasions, their confrontations have become physical, some of them becoming full on fights. One night following a game, their hatred erupts in a way neither of them saw coming. WARNING: There is a massive amount of smut in this book. If you do not want to read smut, do not read this book, because there is a hell of a lot of smut. Chapters with smut will be labeled with an (M) on them, showing that they are mature. If you don't want to read smut, please just skip those chapters. IMPORTANT: The characters start out 18, but there are clear inconsistencies. I started writing this before the Wattpad Purge, and I didn't want to go through the entire story and change their age to 18. There will be a couple chapters near the end of the book where they both turn 18, and obviously that's just stupid. I just don't want to get banned, so I'm saying that these characters are already 18, but they also have their 18th birthdays near the end of the book. I'm just being lazy to be honest. It's not gonna affect the book that much, just ignore it when they say in the early chapters that they are already adults or already 18. That shit doesn't matter. The quality of my writing in this book is pretty mid by the way. I'm a teenage boy that listens to 21 Savage, I feel like expectations shouldn't be high. I don't have writing skills the way many other writers on this site do, so don't expect some Shakespeare type shit. The characters in this book are similar to each other too. It's easier I guess. #1 Sports 4/8/24 #1 Teen Love 6/24/24 #3 Friends With Benefits 3/31/24 #6 Football 3/27/24 #2 Jock 7/2/24 #6 Hate to Love 5/16/24 #4 Bisexual 6/10/24 #4 Pride 6/24/24 #3 Gay Love 6/27/24 #2 Teen Romance 7/26/24

THIS IS COMPLETELY UNDER RECONSTRUCTION: I'm here to give you a better written and updated version. (July 2024) After a terrible hate crime suffered by 16 year old Luke, everything changes. His mom uproots his life and moves him to a small city in Vermont. Things are starting to look up for Luke, new friends and a new start, no one knows his story here. At this new place, no one knows how broken he is. He hides it well, convincing even his mom that he's not emotionally affected by these awful scars. He has to hide who he is, he will no longer be the 'dorky gay kid', he's just the straight mysterious new kid with a broken arm and a scarred face. Hiding who he is as a person is getting hard for him to deal with. He's always been an open guy, and he's not sure how much longer he can tell lame excuses about how he got the thick angry red slice that runs down from his eyebrow to his jaw....The worst part is pretending to be straight, which was his moms idea of course. He meets the very athletic and openly gay Brett, who starts to try getting close to him. but he can't allow that temptation. Will Luke be strong enough to be himself? Or will he lose himself in his new identity?
