When I was dropped off from the bus stop, I automatically knew something was wrong because my mother would always wait for me. When she wasn't there, I began to get worried. 'Had she forgotten?' Was the first thing I thought as I walked up the stairs and into my house. 'Mama? Papa?' I questioned walking into their room. It's hard when you miss people, but, you know, if you miss them it means you were lucky, it means you had someone special in your life, someone worth missing. I had someone like that once, someone I adored with every fiber in my body she meant more to me than anybody else would. She was my rock, my world, my heart in the shape of a person. I had her my whole life, I have known her forever and just like that she was here yesterday and gone today. I am left with thousand moments that I had taken for granted, mostly because I had assumed there would be thousand more. I never thought that when I fell asleep that night, I would wake up and she would be gone forever.
