The heart is a dangerous weapon.

Kelly Sommerfield has been in love with her best friend Nathan Anderson since the first day they met. He was the kind of guy girls would show off to their friends, teachers leave only positive comments about and parents approve of. Kelly couldn't think about anyone else but him, and that was the problem.

School is out and the Cinderella ball was the talk of the town. Everyone in Casmure High was buzzed and excited for the upcoming event, except Kelly.
Turns out one of the schools blonde boom shells asked Nathan to the ball before she could.

Kelly decides to go to the ball herself and finally tell Nathan how she feels, but to her surprise, one of the school drop outs ask her to the dance.
The fear of losing Nathan convinces her to go to the ball with a stranger, not knowing that he had plans for her and her future.

But what could ever go wrong if love was involved?
