A dangerous virus spreads across a continent, killing billions. Political conflicts and wars were only the beginning of the continent's troubles before the plague struck. The pathogen remains unidentified, leaving nothing but destruction and ruin in its wake.
At the heart of the continent lies the Obsidian Labyrinth, a colossal maze-like structure inhabited by magical horrors. As tensions rise, a war erupts between two strange species. The first are the Irrishians, a race of humanoids with avian traits. The second are the Zomlers, a race of bizarre eldritch creatures whose origins remain shrouded in mystery.

Markham "Mark" Maurice - A hunter who was cast out of the Obsidian Labyrinth and now lives as a scavenger and investigator for hire.
Johnson "John" Maurice - Considered the future champion of the Taslig settlers in their struggle against the Irrishians, John, along with Markham, is one of Peter's foster children.
Victor Charles Robertson - A contemptuous businessman who leads a company known as the Eclipse Guild.
Peter Douglas Maurice - The foster father of John and Markham, as well as a powerful war veteran revered by the Taslig settlers.
Edward Mascoria - A flamboyant Irrishian nobleman with secret trade connections to the notorious Hollow King.
Hollow King - A tyrannical, monster monarch of unknown origin who bears the title "Terror of the North."
