"I wanted nothing more than to devote my life to the goddess Athena but that all changed in an instant."
Medusa was once a beautiful girl who spent her days in the Temple of Athena as a priestess to Athena. One day however, she was taking a walk along the shore when a man approached her, the god Poseidon. Against her own will Poseidon took something from her that was irreplaceable. Athena, having pity on the young girl, put a curse on her that would protect her from anything like that happening again.
Perseus is a young hero whose destiny is to cut of the head of Medusa. With the help of the gods and their divine gifts he sets out on a journey to find the Gorgon sister and become the greatest hero in all of Greece.

She cherished him, wanting only the best for him, but the world didn't share her love. Labeled an outcast for being different, Y/n never fit in. He was sluggish and drained during the day yet bursting with energy under the moonlight. Schools rejected him, kids avoided him, but Y/n never minded-until loneliness crept in, whispering that maybe he did want friends after all. His life takes a turn when his father reveals the impossible truth: his mother is a goddess. Then, a strange man with goat legs shows up, telling Y/n he's a demigod and must leave for Camp Half-Blood. Zelus (Perseus Reimagined) (BXB)
We all know the legendary tale of Perseus-the demigod, son of Zeus, and slayer of Medusa, the half-snake, half-human Gorgon. But what if I told you the story of Perseus isn't what you think? What if he didn't kill Medusa, marry Andromeda, or save her city from the Kraken? What if Perseus had a male lover from our time, the twenty-first century? Jonathan Hank, a troubled young man, can't seem to catch a break. His home is filled with misery, especially from his alcoholic father. He would've taken his own life if not for Alexander, his deceased boyfriend, who showed him that life has its bright moments. After a devastating incident at his younger sister Valerie's birthday party, Jonathan's father takes something precious from him-something that keeps the memory of Alexander alive. This loss drives Jonathan to a fateful encounter with a strange man, or perhaps something else entirely-an entity offering him a wish. A wish he never imagined he'd get, one he's longed for even before meeting Alexander. But is this stranger human? Or is there something darker at play?Complete
From Geneology to war - A compendium of Greek Mythology
A helpful guide to Greek mythology including the primordials, titans, gods, goddesses, monsters, heroes and more! Things to note about this story is that since I'm writing about real historical mythology, there is of course many, many, different variations, retellings and plots in existence for each one of the myths so I will do my best to comment on and add in variations when necessary, though in some cases I may just stick with the most common, my favorite or the most historically accurate depictions! "If this is just the original myths can't I just go on Theoi?" Well I try to recount all of the myths in an accurate but easy to understand way, which is quite difficult other places, though if you have any questions about anything, please just ask!!
