Each generation of werewolves get their very own necklaces, each necklace has a charm of a moon, different wolves have different type of moon charms. A way to assure who your mate is is to put together your moon charm necklaces, if the two charms fit together perfectly while you feel the connection then you found your mate. Never has there been reported of mixed up necklaces since the ceremony to find the right necklace is top notch.
Taelynn is a werewolf, with an unusual coat and a high statis. Then she meets Ky, and Seth. Ky feels like her mate but Seth is the one with the same necklace. Between different obstacles, fights, declarations, tears, and pain, it will be a lot of hard work to remain collected and focus.
