Ella Owen is Mel and Steve Owens oldest child. She is sixteen and is just as manipulative as her parents. Ella returns to Albert square with her mum and her younger brother, hunter. Ella has no memory's off her life on the square since leaving when she was one. Ella is a lot like Mel, which often leads in her getting into a lot of trouble.

Ella soon mwts Mick carter who is in an unhappy marriage with Linda. Ella flirts with mick and can't help but want him. Before long Mick starts to have an affair with Ella, he knows that it is wrong especially since she is only sixteen and a child but he can't seem to stay away from her.

But how long with Ella sit back and be his bit on the side and just how will Mel react learning what her teenage daughter has been up to?
