Worthy

I have never felt close to death more than i'm feeling right now . My palms are sweating, my hands are shaking , and i can hear my heartbeat bounding loudly . Its like ,it was about to burst out of my chest . I was terrified , but for some reason i sat calmly . I looked at the wolf ahead of me, pierced through his red predator eyes. It also brought two of his friends with him. After all , they see three people , and three is a good number for food. They would probably have the kids as a snack , and i would be the main course . Even though I'm a small person, I'm better than nothing . My hands sealed around the kids behind me who were crying for their lives. I felt helpless and hopeless but I'm not going without a fight. I grabbed my knife from my bag and held it tightly .
I called him inside but i knew he wouldn't come. I cried loudly with his name but he still didn't come . We're not worthy enough for him to stay . He was long gone . Gone for good , and it's time for us to leave too.
