Gardina Verena Holton is the late Deshuan Dupree Holton sister, who has had a long list of problems starting when she got pregnant at 17 to a man who later got arrested, all the way to losing her only brother, to being completely hooked on drugs and alcohol to finally being released out of prison for possession of drugs and aggravated assault with a weapon.

She's finally free of prison, but her problems are far from over.

Because her daughter is soon to be getting married and won't allow her mother into the wedding or her life until she is completely sober.

And with just being released from Prison and with another 11 year old kid to raise since her mom had been raising her child while she was away, how is she going to manage sobriety, the law trying to take her kid, and her oldest daughter completely shutting her out?

Marshall Bruce Mathers long time best friend of the late Deshaun has been sober for 10 years, and see's the way his sister is struggling without him. What happens when Marshall decides to take Gardina under his mentor ship and completely take on the responsibility of helping her get sober?
Marshall has 3 months to get her sober and prove to everyone including the government that Gardina is stable enough to take care of her youngest daughter, and sober enough to attend her daughters wedding.
How will he balance his career? His own family drama? A drug addict who wants to just end it all? And feelings that weren't at all supposed to be developing?

Well...I guess you just gotta read and find out. ;)

Sure, hes a talented photographer that's built an impressive career for himself. But in his personal life He's fickle, terribly carefree and a bed hopping- silver tongued- ladies man that can be hard to get a hold of when needed most. However she'd be lying if she said she didn't enjoy the extra strobe of light he tended to bring into her otherwise dark life. But Brielle will soon realize, that becoming more attached to Milan as he is now will leave her right back if not in worse, condition than any man had ever left her in before. And that's not something she can quite afford. (This is just an unedited, unfinished preview of What we yearn for. (Book #4 in the series) (Can be read as a stand-alone) HER A mystery. So very complicated. An enigma. A puzzle with so many missing pieces. Add one of the above ingredients into my plate and call me intrigued. Enter him. He is all of them and more...much more. He claims to be a monster. He doesn't believe in redemption. He is too vague and too dark for me to read. But it's my job now. To help him, figure him out, to find all of his missing pieces, arrange them together and finally obtain the final picture. It's my job, to find his deepest darkest secret. It's my job, to unravel the beast he claims to be and finally see the man behind. HIM Lost. I've been lost for way too many years. I thought it was over. I wanted it to be over. I had nothing to live for anymore. I've killed, I've destroyed and obliterated. It was enough. My role in the story should've ended there. I was too big of a monster to be tamed. Too dangerous to be kept alive. Enter her. Too loud. Too obnoxious. Too naive. Innocent, so very innocent. So intent on aiding me, redeeming me. She is unaware, she is opening a door that was shut down with a broken lock. I am scared. Terrified even. She is too white against my inner darkness. Too pure to be tangled with the devil living within me. We don't mix. We should never mix. Instead of pulling me out of that room, she might just get herself stuck inside as well. She wants to unravel the beast and meet the man behind, but I am scared that if she succeeded, she'll find nothing behind.

Haven Mathers is the oldest daughter of Marshall Mathers, better known as Eminem, Slim Shady, the white guy from D12, and so on. She was the result of an affair Marshall had when he was young, but he still loved her all the same. She was his baby, and as she grew up, he was her best friend. When Haven hit the age of eighteen, she had to travel everywhere with her father because Kim didn't want her around. Kim claimed to love Haven as her own, but obviously that wasn't true. She traveled with him for two years, before she decided she wanted to get out on her own. Being the daughter of famous rapper, Eminem, she had to move to a place that she'd less likely get mobbed every time she went to a store or restaurant. Being on tour with him for two years made her a lot more recognized and pretty much famous than the rest of her sisters. It was a blessing and a curse; a blessing to rub in Kim's face, but a curse because Haven wanted to be normal sometimes. Anyhow, the young girl decided to move to Charming, California. The only people who knew where she went was her father and her sisters. Nobody else was allowed to know, and she liked that. She didn't expect that living in Charming would put her in a completely different lifestyle, but she also still had to deal with the fame and recognition from her father's fans, but also the criticism about her family, especially her father, in the news and to her face. It was a pain, but one man started to make it better. Things don't turn completely as planned when her father finds out about him, especially when he learns that the man is the same age as him. He gets angry, but he'd do anything for his girls, so would he really hurt her for being with the man?
