And you ain't gotta say it, you deserve better" When you have been hurt all your life its not easy to just open up your world to somebody you don't know. Isaiah showed me everything I wanted in a man. But, it was me... It was me... Me who wasn't familiar with all the love he showed me so i kept pushing him away. That just caused him to come back and that's what I love about Him. No matter how hard i pushed him he always came back and showed The love I deserve. I've always hated the saying "Time heals all wounds." Maybe in most cases that may be true. In my experience with life and pain however, time has only ever bled out the wound. The scars that the wounds left behind though, are often so deep that just looking at them becomes painful to the mind. Time only heals what you let go of. Sometimes letting go and moving on just doesn't feel possible; no matter how much time you let pass you by. These poems signify what time hasn't healed for me.

ᴅᴏ ʏᴏᴜ ʙᴇʟɪᴇᴠᴇ ɪɴ ᴛʀᴜᴇ ʟᴏᴠᴇ? ᴄᴀɴ ʏᴏᴜ sᴏʟᴠᴇ ᴛʜᴇ ᴍʏsᴛᴇʀʏ? Murder... The word that people despised. It brought not only loss but stands for death. One of the many things that scares humans; as their was really no way to control it... One of the many things that changed her life forever. ~ "Please don't leave me." I pleaded, looking down at my my limp mother. Her blood went around us, staining the floor. This is all my fault... If only I had locked the door that night. The intruders words rang through my head, over and over again; like a broken record. "This is all your fault." My father spit. Breaking anything in his path. That day the old him was gone, never to return. The nightmare of this day would haunt me in my sleep; as my life was never the same. Life was unfair, the world is a horrible place. It was like everything came crashing down at one moment. The only person I had left after that was my best friend... We slowly grew apart as he didn't know what went on behind the doors of my house. Years passed, as the day still made my life worse. Not having the money to move I was still stuck in the same house... By the same river. Soon anouther murrder happened, the same way as... My mother's. Suspicions spread though the small town. A twenty minute ride to there. I would live in town to if I had the money. That day when the decective came to the door; it was just fate. As I didn't know it then... But, he would save me. It... Was just something about the way he looked at me; that made my heart go a mile a minute. I was ruthless and she was was wrecked by her past. I never thought twice of anything but I did of her. I wanted her but she was too scared to need me or was it the other way around? A hunger, so deep-engrossing me like madness....I could almost call that feeling love but would she ever love me? There's only one thing for sure. Its either I have her or loose me but what will staying me be without her? My life,my story,my tale. This was how I learnt to love.
